Focal Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I have pointed Photo 8 to the folder that contains the NIK apps, and they show uo in the 'Photoshop Plugins' settings, but they do not show up under the 'filters' tab in the Affinity Photo 8 filters tab. Quote
Komatös Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Hi @Focal and welcome to the forums. Oops! Did I oversleep something? Affiniy Photo already at version 8? Can you please post a screenshot showing the plugin settings? PaulEC Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I did wonder if there was some confusion with Serif's old Photo Plus X8, but I don't remember being able to install third party filters in that at all! Focal Posted January 16 Author Posted January 16 Uhhhh . . . 2 . . . I meant '2'. So, any help? Quote
PaulEC Posted January 16 Posted January 16 In the absence of the screenshot that was requested, it's a bit difficult to help! Is "Allow unknown plugins to be used" ticked? What OS are you using? Which version of the NIK Plugins are you using? When you click on "Plugins" at the bottom of the Filters Menu, are the NIK Plugins missing completely or are they greyed out? Did you follow the installation instructions for Affinity exactly? Staff DWright Posted January 20 Staff Posted January 20 If you are using the Windows version of the Affinity apps please check that you are using the EXE version of the installers. If the Nik Plugins are present but are greyed out please check that the colour space is set to RGB/8 as these plugins do not work with RGB/16 or RGB/32 colour spaces. Quote
