ElizaStudios Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I was trying to change the font of one my text fields and it kept crashing. I restating my computer with no luck. I tried reinstalling the app with no luck. Publisher 2 just won't open. Can someone help me? I have a project I need to get done ASAP. I have never had a crash problem like this before. My affinity apps have always worked well for me. Quote
AlainP Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I had a similar problem yesterday but in Designer. Every time I tried to change the font of a text box. As soon as I tried to scroll down the fonts list I had the spinning beach ball. Sometimes it stop spinning and once it a while it just crashed Designer. I deactivated many built in fonts using the Font Book app, all asian like fonts and a few more that I had never heard of. After restarting, Designer was working fine, no more crash or spinning beach ball. I tried the last "non beta" version and it didn't have this problem at all. I remember that I have seen this problem a few versions ago, but can't remember which one. Oufti Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Perhaps is this related to the known bug AF-3126 ? (Switching to "Recents" list crashes when variable fonts are installed.) ElizaStudios Posted January 16 Author Posted January 16 The font I discovered wasn’t compatible with Affinity apps. See attached image. It was a font I bought from creative market. Quote

Affinity doesn't support colour fonts with bitmapped images.
