Hi all, I experienced enormous problems today after sorting finished and saved .afdesign files into different folders. After that, it is not possible anymore to open ANY file. On trying, I always get the info, that the file has been created with V1 Version (which is not true, I never had V1) and can't be opened anymore. This is really a huge problem, as I cannot move any .afdesign file to anywhere. I found in the Publisher Section today here similar cases. At the moment, it seems that I'm able to replicate this problem with different files.

Any ideas or advise on that? This is really a serious problem for me.

Where are those folders located (an internal drive, a cloud service, what)?

What happens if you create a new AD file & save it to your internal drive? Will it open?

@Bluebrent As well as confirming where the files are now stored are you able to provide a copy of one of the files so we can take a look?

If you're unable to upload the file here you can send me a DM with a download link.

The files are internally saved. Internal + External TB4 SSD. I managed to create new files, which do not have this kind of issue. A "save as" wasn't possible as well, when the open AD Project was making problems.
