Mainecoon364 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 From the top to the bottom brush settings are A) Width B) Opacity C) Flow D) Hardness Example 1 : 20-100-100-0 Example 2 : 20-50-100-0 Example 3 : 20-100-50-0 Example 4 : 20-100-100-100 I created a pixel layer and applied these settings on It. I don’t understand the differences of the examples of the brush settings after I tried several settings. Question 1) What is the difference between Example 3 with Example 1 It looks like Flow is the same effect with Opacity. When you increase the stroke gets darker Question 2) What is the difference between Example 4 with Example 1 It looks like Hardness is the same effect with Opacity. When you increase the stroke gets darker Question 3) Is there a setting which does the beginning of the stroke lighter/darker? Question 4) Is there a setting which does the end of the stroke lighter/darker? Question 5) Is there a setting which does darker when you hold click on the canvas longer? Quote
Alfred Posted January 3 Posted January 3 For questions 1 and 5, the Help explains that Flow controls how fast colour is built up under your brush. Mainecoon364 Posted January 4 Author Posted January 4 Sorry If I didn’t mention I’ve read there before asking the questions. (Explanations do not make It clear for me there. I confused some settings with others. Like opacity and hardness may look like the same effect.) Can you check my questions again please? Quote
