This is a minor issue but I can't figure out how to resolve it. When I use the command + all keys to capture the workspace, there are blinking dotted lines that won't go away. Even if I close the program, when I return to it the lines are still there. It's distracting and I just want to make them stop and go away. I'm on a MAC desktop using the latests version of Photo.

Thanks for your help.

I think you may have made a Pixel selection. Use the Command + D keyboard shortcut to Deselect the area. The blinking dotted lines are called a Marquee selection, from the Olden Times Theatre Marquee having blinking lights around them.

Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

They are also often called "marching ants" since they resemble how those insects move along a path, one that may not be rectilinear like a traditional theater marquee.

@Pšenda, why the confusion? The "marching ants" terminology has been in use for several decades.

Given that I mentioned the same term, including the identical Wikipedia link, in a previous post about 6 hours ago, I'm really confused as to why you're writing exactly the same thing?

Sorry. I was distracted by something happening here in my neighborhood & missed that.
