Poziomka Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 I have a suggestion to change the thickness of the line. By default, when moving the slider, the thickness changes with 0.1 increments. Maybe with alt or shift it could jump by 1 in full values? It seems to me that it would speed up the work with the thickness of the line. Quote
Pšenda Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 It's a shame that the same/consistent method as scrolling with the wheel above the edit field is not used here, i.e. scroll without the modifier key +-1, with Ctrl +-0.1 and with Shift +-10. This also applies to the option to scroll above the slider. fde101 Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Some of the edit fields had that feature intentionally disabled at some point because people were inadvertently changing values too often when attempting to use the scroll wheel for its actual intended function (to scroll the view). Quote

But exactly as you write, in many cases there can be an unpleasant collision with the "expected" function of the scroll wheel, i.e. with scrolling the canvas or lists (for example, the Layers panel), and unwanted changes of values. That is why I have previously suggested that to change values, a modifier key must always be used, for example Alt +-1, Ctrl +-0.1, Shift +-10. Even if there is also Ctrl+Scroll for zooming, unwanted modification of values with the wheel would not occur so much.
