Images inside a Symbol container: "K Only" is not propagated to all instances

A Picture Frame with a linked image is placed inside a Symbol container.
Changing the image properties like Fill Color changes properties in all Symbol instances as expected, except "K Only".

To switch "K Only" on and off, an image in each Symbol instance must be changed individually.

Affects v2.4.2 as well as v2.6.0 beta 2950.
MacOS Ventura, MacBook Air M2 15"

K Only does change "something" when applied on an instance, but not what it's supposed to.
