Bereits ausprobiert - jedoch ohne Erfolg:

  • Affinitiy aktualisiert, inkl. Test mit Tesversion von Affinity 2
  • OSX auf dem aktuellen Stand
  • Sämtliche Zugriffe inkl. Festplattenvollzugriff ausprobiert

Und hier noch die Hardfacts:

  • Affinity Publisher/Designer 1.10.8
  • Affintiy Publisher 2.5.5
  • macOS 15.0.1

Hat jemand noch eine Idee?

Welcome to the Affinity forums, @Micasael.

Are you saying that you use File > Save As, but you do not get the dialog asking you where to Save, and allowing you to provide a file name? If so, do you ever use multiple monitors with that system, and are they all currently attached and turned on?

Hi @walt.farrell
Thx for your time. I've probably found the problem: there is an embedded document (a logo) on the master pager. Always when I try to change that, affinity crashes. So i decided to set up the document again. Probably you have an idea, what the problem could be…?

If you could provide us with a copy of the .afpub file where you're encountering this crash we can look into it further and confirm if it's replicable on our side. I can provide a private upload link if required.

Has a solution been found for the problem?

I have the same problem. Every time I open my layout file, I create a new copy under “Save as ...” This works. But as soon as I make changes and want to save normally, the program hangs. It is very annoying. Can anyone help?

Hi @MarkCanto,

Sorry to hear that, It's possible that the problem may relate to the storage medium (E.G Cloud, NAS Drive, External Drive). If you're saving to any of these external locations I would recommend moving the files to your local drive and then trying the standard save again. If the issue persists, could you confirm the following:

  • What Operating System are you using?
  • What Affinity app and app version are you using?
  • Does the save issue occur with file save on an entirely new document created via file -> new?
  • Have you tried saving the file with it stored in a few different folders/locations?

Thanks

A private upload link would be perfect, please.
