sflomenb
I've had Designer for a while now and just got Photo on the sale. I've had a built-in Affinity Designer folder in iCloud Drive, but when I try to save something from Affinity Photo in iCloud Drive, it saves it in the Designer folder. Why is there no Photo folder? Staff MEB Posted July 7, 2016 Staff Share Posted July 7, 2016 Hi uncle808us, Have you tried to save at least once to the iCloud Library? It only creates a folder after you save at least one file there (see screenshot - selected item. Note that currently both Affinity Designer and Photo save to the Affinity Designer iCloud Folder. familia
I am having the same problem, no folders in iCloud, however when doing the save as... it does not create the respective folders in iCloud. Any ideas on how to create the folders? I am running both AP and AD in MacOS.
Staff MEB Posted August 8, 2018 Staff Share Posted August 8, 2018 Hi familia, Welcome to Affinity Forums Open the System Preferences on your Mac, go to the iCloud section, click the Options button in front of iCloud Drive on the right then make sure Affinity Designer.app and Affinity Photo.app are both ticked. Check the iCloud folder then. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
familia
Hi MEB, Done that, didn't work. Disabled iCloud on my Mac and reenabled it. This made it work. However, the icon for AD although it was correct at first, it changed to the AP after the AP folder has been created. Thanks
