Hi. I have a reason to consider upgrading my Mac to Sequoia, but I see that the Affinity apps system requirements info do not include it. But then I see people reporting small problems in using Affinity apps with it. What is the general view on the choice I face - and if the advice is to wait, how long is that wait likely to be?

All these worlds are yours except Sequoia. Attempt no landing there.

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Is your current policy wise, I wonder?

It depends on whether any of the Sequoia-related Affinity bugs that have been found so far matter to you, or how much they matter.

And, of course, whether you might find additional ones no one else has reported yet :)

There will probably be fixes for (some of) these in the upcoming 2.6 Beta, but we won't know which ones until the Beta is made available.

Thanks Walt

I think I can live with those bugs, so I'll probably give it a go.

I've only recently started serious work with the Affinity apps. Is it normal for delivery of a compatible version to lag behind an OS upgrade like this?

There always seems to be something. This one, though, may be a combination of several factors that I'd rather not speculate about publicly. Serif can comment if they want to.
