Upgrade Path / Cost from "Affinity Designer V2" to "Affinity V2 Universal"

I already have Affinity Designer 2 for Windows and would now like to upgrade to the universal license. I regularly receive emails with 50% offers for the universal license, but they don't take into account that I may already have a version 2 license. Is there an official way for this scenario, possibly also taking into account the 50% promotions?

It would not be possible to buy a Universal license in stages I'm afraid.

Best suggestion for up grade path from V1 suite to V2 should I go through Affinity site or Apple app store for the best deal? I own all three programs in V1. Purchased Publisher direct the other two at App store.

I know that the 25% Upgrade Discount is available via the Affinity Store, at https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/store/upgrade-offer/

I'm not sure it's available if you go through the Mac App Store, or exactly how that would work, so I would purchase through the Affinity Store to be sure

Do you need registration key for all 3 apps or just one that I purchased directly through the Affinity store?

There are no registration keys for the V2 apps. You can purchase the individual licences, or the Universal licence, via the Affinity Store.
