wo1fwood
The Problem: Affinity Designer will not open. I was able to install the package without any error messages, the only thing it asked for was c++ but no error was thrown. On launching Designer I get the splash screen, but then the program crashes and wont load into the environment. Troubleshooting: redownloaded c++ manually, no help changed compatability of the .exe to win7, no help System: Win 10 x64 Pro nVidia GTX 770, running driver 368.
Staff Jon P Posted June 30, 2016 Staff Share Posted June 30, 2016 Hiya, I saw on another post that you have installed to a default location. What locale OS do you have installed? After a crash would you be able to go to %AppData%\Roaming\Serif\Affinity Designer\1.0 (Beta) and let me know if you have any contents inside that folder? If you have a folder called CrashReports with anything in could you zip them and upload them for us? Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
