Will Affinity Designer ever offer a bit map to vector tracer? Apart from Illustrator even the open source free Inkscape includes a pretty good tracer. I would have thought by version 2 this feature would have been included.

As has been true for many years now, they have made it clear that they will no longer publicly comment on what new features might be in development until they appear in customer betas.

Looks like Inkscape is the app to use for auto tracing then - Serif need to listen and respond more to customer requests.

Perhaps that's exactly what Serif does - within its available development capacities, it offers functions that users need and cannot easily replace with other procedures (for example, many online autotracers or free applications).
