NIgelJH Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 I have been saving gifs for my website for years. Suddenly I have noticed something really odd as you can see in the attached image. The issue is the corners and is seems to have a double curve. As you can see from the screenshot, there is no double curve. Can someone please help as I have tried everything and its starting to drive me bonkers! Thanks in advance for you help! Quote
Alfred Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 Have you tried exporting to PNG instead? (I’m a little surprised that you’re not using PNG already, given that the GIF format only supports a limited colour palette.) Can you upload the Affinity Photo document, that may be the quickest way to get you an answer? Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. NIgelJH Posted August 7, 2024 Author Posted August 7, 2024 Sorry for the late reply! I have been saving as png as Alfred suggested. I used gif as a way to ensure a quicker page opening as there are many images like these per page. I tried the gif again today but have the same problem. I have attached the screenshot and also the saved AF document. img1526.afphoto Quote
Dan C Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Thanks for your file provided @NIgelJH! This appears to be caused by the 'Palletised' option when exporting - if I change the Palette option from Automatic to Black and White, then back to Automatic, the file seems to export as expected: Screen Recording 2024-08-07 at 15.46.38.mp4 I've not seen this happening previously, therefore I'm getting it logged with our dev team now. I hope this helps Quote
