Getting a crash when i try to fill an object .

If i try  to use an image  from  Pexels   my program crashes . I created an rectangle 3000 x 3000 At 300 dpi , Then  fill tool  then clicked on image in Pexels  then software crashes to desktop. No errors .

Welcome to Affinity Forums
You don't need select any tool to add images from Pexels. Just drag them from the Stock panel to the canvas. Note that double-clicking an image in the Stock panel, opens your browser and displays the image in the Pexels.com website (Affinity still continues running in background).
Can you provide a screen recording of the crash happening? Can you still reproduce it doing the same thing?

I was  following a video  step by step  .That's why i did it  that way . Worked  fine for her . I will  get a video  for it . Thanks for the input .

@SnS Specialty, when I try this, when I single-click on the Pexels image, it does work like in the video to fill the rectangle. However, shortly after that AD 2.5 crashed. I don't know if that is exactly what happens for you but it does seem to be a bug.

Yes  that is what happens to me . If you watch my  first video to the end  i do  the process  to make it  crash to desktop .No errors   just like it shuts  the program down as if i  just closed it .

I (eventually) get a crash report.

Crashes on Windows 10 too. However only using Designer (retail and current beta). It generates a crash report first time every time..
