Hangman
Hi @SEUser and welcome to the forums, This looks like it's related to a bug listed as fixed in the v2.5.0 release listed under AF-1288, though this is specific to Artboards so it should probably be listed as a new bug if not already listed... When selecting the contents of Artboard 1 using the marquee drag you are not selecting the Artboard itself, just the contents of the Artboard, when selecting Artboard 2, you are selecting the Artboard itself which when pasted into a new document results in the text appearing at a reduced size, i.e., assuming your Artboard are 72 dpi then the text is scaling by 24% - (72 / 300) x 100) = 24%, so 18 pt text appears as 4.3 pt when pasted and 12 pt text appears as 2.9 pt. I'm assuming your artboards use a DPI or 72? When creating the new document to paste the graphics in, if you set that to be 72 dpi as well you should find that everything pastes correctly at the same size with the possible exception of the barcode number which may have been created using a text frame with a different dpi... SEUser
The initial document - 72 DPI and the new document - 300 DPI. I should have checked the received document first. My mistake. Thanks a lot.

woefi
1 hour ago, Hangman said: It's not a mistake on your part, it's a bug... Jup. When doing designing/DTP work (mostly text and vectors), one should never have to worry about dpi. That's to be considered upon exporting, if rasterizing has to be applied. I'm assuming that's a thing that comes from Affinity apps historically coming from an image editor state-of-mind and only later tacking vector tools and desktop publishing onto it... Hangman
Hi @Sean P, I see the same issue with the one I created (attached) if it helps... Hangman
Hi @Sean P, I believe there is now a second report of what is likely the same issue here... Note: In the linked thread the user shows an opened PDF file in Affinity Designer because they haven't saved the original Designer file but I'm assuming that the source Designer file was quite possibly an Artboard...
