AnthonyMarrian Posted May 22, 2024 Posted May 22, 2024 I have a book consisting of 21 different sections, all of which are currently set to A4. I now want to export the book to PDF but in A5. I can't see how to do that from within the book's export settings. Is there a way of re-paginating the book, or do I have to repaginate each section? The intention is to submit the PDF file to a book printer and get them to create around 50 copies for distribution. Grateful for advice, please. Quote
mopperle Posted May 22, 2024 Posted May 22, 2024 I assume you are talking about the Publisher. If you simply want to scale down your document to A5, you can do this via the document settings by changing A4 to A5. This scales down eveything (text, piuctures etc.) in your document by around 50%. But depending on the content of your original document, you have to check if everything is still readable after scaling down. Quote Regards, Otto Affinity Suite v2.6.x - Windows 11 Pro
AnthonyMarrian Posted May 22, 2024 Author Posted May 22, 2024 Thank you so much for your reply. I’m not in front of my computer at the moment, but do I understand that this has to be done to each of the 21 sections that make up the book, or can it be done globally from within the book? Quote

I would take the easy road. If the book printer knows his business (which he should), he can easily downscale the PDF. Just ask / tell him.
