Custom settings do not load when the program starts. How come? Where am I wrong?

And what "custom settings" are you referring to?

the program is Designer v2 and the customized settings are "tools, the others setting are ok when I load the program.

And please be a bit more precise. Which settings revert back to default? Can you show us an example (screenshot) of which setting you changed that is not stored?

The operative system is Windows 10. The problem is with the tool handle dimensions, I set them to a small size, but they return to a default size.

With Designer 2.4.2 on Windows 10 I can set the Tool Handle Size setting in “Settings / Tools” differently and that setting carries over to the next application session/launch as expected.

If other people can’t replicate the problem then that would suggest to me that the cause probably isn’t with the software as supplied but possibly with some configuration on your machine, either software (Designer or otherwise) or hardware.

While waiting for a technical expert to come along, can you tell us how you installed the software (Microsoft Store, Affinity Store, MSIX, EXE, etc.) and give us some high-level information about your hardware set-up?

You can get this set-up information by pressing the Windows Start button, choosing Settings, choosing the System section, scrolling down the left-hand list and choosing About. You can copy the information using the Copy buttons and paste it here.

Hi Giovanni,

Sorry to hear your tool handle sizes are resetting just to confirm are you changing the tool handle size setting in the apps preferences and then when you restart the app this setting has been reset to the default? Or are you opening the app and the tool handles are the same size but the setting is still applied in the apps preferences? Do you happen to know if you are using the MSIX or MSIEXE version of the app?

Now is all ok, there is a problem when I closed the program.
