I'm currently working on a Photo Book. I have 1 master page with basic settings. While filling the book with content, I realized that for many pages I use the same layout with picture frame and text frames. Is there a way to create add. master pages directly from such pages?

Checked the help system, menu and context menu for an entry, but couldnt find anything.

Otto

You want to create a duplicate from the existing masterpage?
Or
You want to create a masterpage derived from a regular page?

I think Serif wants us to be only creative in finding workarounds to use their tools.

If you already have the desired layout on a regular page, couldn’t you simply copy the objects, create a new (blank) master page and then paste the copied content onto it?

Or easier way is to add the new empty mp to the regular page>edit linked>drag the items into the mp layer>finish and apply this mp to the pages you want it applied to.

Thanks to both of you, this is what I already did. Thought that there might be an option like right click on the regular page and choose from the context menu something like "create master page from this page".

Yes

@mopperle,

I'm afraid I have to disappoint you, but currently there is no way to do something like this automatically using a specific option.
You'll need to either create a replica manually from scratch, or copy elements from the page that will serve as a template, as suggested by @Return and @alfred.

Well, it's too bad that there is no such option😞

It might be worth formally posting a feature request.

If only a new mp is created if one duplicates the mp in the layerspanel on a regular page.
