Copy and replace?

No. I've wanted that myself before because I have some muscle memory from some app that worked that way.

I'll make a note of it, this would be a trivially easy script to write once scripting is available. It would just need to get the coordinates of the selected object, delete it, and paste whatever is on the pasteboard to the coordinates of the previous object.

Sadly and frustratingly not to my knowledge. I have been asking for a Paste Replace function (most useful as a right click context menu item) for quite a while.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I remember it too from somewhere because I keep looking through edit and trying to find it. I think Flash had it. I guess I'll have to do it the hard way.

As confirmed above, this functionality unfortunately is not available currently in Affinity - therefore I'm moving this thread to the Feedback section of the Forums for our team to see and consider adding this in a future update :)
