ecureuil
I always use the Inpaining and Patch tools with the "Current Layer & Below" layer setting. I must always set this manually from "Current Layer" which is the default. I could not find an option to change this. Is there a way to do this anyway? Hello @ecureuil, I am not aware that it is possible to change the default behaviour. You might want to place a feature request in this section of the forum. d. Staff DWright Posted March 18 Staff Share Posted March 18 It is not possible to change the default source location for these tools and they will always default to the Current layer each time that the tools is selected.

Many of us are already painfully/paintfully aware of that, Darren! There’s a Feature Request thread on the topic here: GripsholmLion 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)
ecureuil
I've seen that feature request, but it's for version 1. I'll open one for version 2.
