Unsure if this is already logged but I couldn't immediately find a bug report for it...

The Colour Dodge Blend Mode Displays incorrectly... In the example below the Blend Mode is applied to the lower Blue rectangle... Note: The same issue exists in v1.

Is it really a bug?
I just copied the vector objects to VectorStyler, and it behaves exactly the same.

MacBookAir 15": MacOS Sonoma > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 18 > Affinity v2

I believe so but looking for clarification...

VectorStyler is pretty buggy...

I see the result shown on the right (for the image shown in the previous post) in both PhotoPea and Pixelmator...

Thanks Hangman. Confirmed here. I'm logging the issue to be looked at. It's currently being rendering as Add rather than Color Dodge.

Hi @MEB,

Exactly that, many thanks for confirming and logging... There is also a difference between how v1 and v2 render the Vivid Light Blend Mode but I think (though am not 100% sure) that the v2 rendering is correct...

I just checked your example in Illustrator CS5, and you're right:

(Funny though that VectorStyler obviously suffers from the same bug… :D)

Yes, V2 is rendering it correctly, not V1.

Thanks for confirming... :)
