Good morning,

I just upgraded from version 2.3.1 to 2.4.0 and I can't edit RAW files.

When the file is released from the windows desktop or from the affinity photo menu, when you open the file in the developed persona, it crashes and exits the program.

The RAW files are *.RW2 from a Panasonic Lumix DC-S1, and de computer is a intel i7 6700 with 16gb RAM.

In version 2.3.1, the program worked fine.

Not of much help for you but your RW2 file opens & develops fine on my Mac running AP 2.4.0.

No problem here either and I'm running Windows (10) with an i7 6700K CPU!

Here's a screenshot of your RW2 open in my Edit screen, so post the RAW Develop screen.

Long-time user of Serif products, chiefly PagePlus and PhotoPlus, but also WebPlus, CraftArtistProfessional and DrawPlus.  Delighted to be using Affinity Designer, Photo, and now Publisher, version 1 and now version 2.

I tred to reboot after the installl, unistall a install but the problem is there.

It has to be something from the operating system. I'm checking for updates.

Welcome to the forums @JSP75,

Some users are experiencing artefacts on RAW files in the develop persona following an upgrade to 2.4 when OpenCL is enabled, so perhaps your problem is related. I'd suggest unticking the setting (last checkbox) under Edit > Preferences > Performance and then closing the interface and restarting when prompted to see if it occurs going forward.
