Rentner
When I load an old document into the iPad air with Publisher 2.4, I get a "sandbox error" in the resources. Couldn't be fixed with "Replace" either. Does anyone know anything?
Alfred
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @Rentner. Was the document created in an earlier version of APub 2 on iPad or on a version 1 iPad app (Designer or Photo), or did you transfer it from a Mac or a Windows PC? Which iPad Air model are you using? It's all the same, doesn´t matter jpeg pdf, I could not replace it. no transfer, no other system usw. If I delete the object and then reposition it normally everything works. Just to be clear, are you saying that even a PDF file (so nothing to do with APub 2.3x) also causes an error when you try to load it in APub 2.40? 15 minutes ago, Rentner said: If I delete the object and then reposition it normally everything works. I’m not sure what you mean by “reposition it normally”. Komatös
@Alfred as a non-native English speaker, I would assume that he means 'replace' 😉 Alfred 1 Quote AMD Ryzen 7 5700X | INTEL Arc A770 LE 16 GB | 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz | Windows 11 Pro 23H2 (22631.3296) AMD A10-9600P | dGPU R7 M340 (2 GB) | 8 GB DDR4 2133 MHz | Windows 10 Home 22H2 (1945.3803) Affinity Suite V 2.4 & Beta 2.(latest) Better translations with: https://www.deepl.com/translator Interested in a robust (selfhosted) PDF Solution? Staff NathanC Posted March 5 Staff Share Posted March 5 Welcome to the forums @Rentner, I'd like to see if this unresolvable sandbox error can be reproduced internally, any chance you could send us a copy of the file, along with the resource? I've included a private upload link below if you don't wish to share the document publicly. https://www.dropbox.com/request/yRvd9SEeFSnjDZM8MJvK Thanks
Rentner
I have now tried out a few files again and can no longer find any errors. Maybe a few resets helped. Sorry if I made the horses shy... What still bothers me now is that when loading an older file from the iCloud, the links to the resources have to be relinked. But I can live with that.
