Artistwright
Lock Insertion Target is only working with this duplicate method CMD+C and CMD + V. It doesn't seem to work when using CMD + J or Holding down CMD when dragging an object. In fact even when Insertion target isn't locked, this duplicate method CMD+C and CMD + V is the only way to make it work (Mac User, 13.3.1)
Staff Patrick Connor Posted February 28 Staff Share Posted February 28 The ability to honour the selected insertion target while duplicating by dragging and with Power Duplicate was not part of the design for this feature, sorry, but we have made a improvement suggestion to the developers to see if this can be accommodated. Artistwright
Thanks for the response @Patrick Connor In the Whats New Affinity video for 2.4 it totally looked like they were using the CMD + Drag as it looked so effortless. Fingers crossed it can be implemented as that would be a real time saver Patrick Connor and Klababa
