catlover Posted April 25, 2016 Share Posted April 25, 2016 I placed 4 guides around an existing rectangle, fill 100% black, snap = ON, & converted the rectangle into curves. The guides exist, see the Guides Manager, View = set to guides visible. Yet, the guides are not visible ?? Can't figure out why not .... Help is appreciated ! Since you positioned them at the canvas boundaries they are barely visible, but if you drag one of them you should be able to see the others temporarily. In any case if you need to snap objects to the boundaries of the canvas you can simply enable Snapping with Snap to Spread option checked in the Snapping Manager (menu View ▸ Snapping Manager...). Anyhow, Thanks for you reply. As you might be aware of, the guides & grids still have issues. This was mentioned in posts numerous times, not least by little old me: I'm beginning to feel something of a nuisance on this subject. Yet, I still think it's of major importance to get it right. We are aware there's quite a few requests for improvements in those areas (snapping/grids/guides) and i believe beta 1.5 will introduce some changes here.
