guyp Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 Export Slices UNTRIMMED!!!! It's a must Clients wants original file in a certain dimension sadly It gets rasterized and trimmed before exporting and I have no clue how to keep original size HALP! Quote
Alfred Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @guyp. If you don’t need or want slices, don’t use the Export persona. Just go to the File menu and choose the Export option from there. If it's an Affinity file: adjust the document dimensions as required and resolution as wanted then choose "Save As…". 2 hours ago, guyp said: sadly It gets rasterized and trimmed before exporting and I have no clue how to keep original size If you want to avoid rasterization and trimming use an according export file type (e.g. PDF, SVG) with an according export setting, regardless of Export Menu command or via Slices in Export Persona. To avoid trimming by a certain slice size select or create a slice in the required dimensions. David in Яuislip Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 Funny that, I assumed the original post to request that slices be exported at the same size as the main image but just containing the sliced bit, probably the old ass, you and me scenario but I digress Here's a macro that works for vector shapes, text and images within and without groups If it doesn't work you can have your money back p.s. it only works for up to 50 layers, but that's another story Slices-FullSize.afmacro Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/10
