Help! Corrupted file

Recommended Posts

Hello... I'm facing a strange issue. This is the first time I'm experiencing that.
I've been working hard on a file which contains multiple artboards and graphic iterations.
Last save was yesterday night, today, I can't open the file. Affinity softwares say this "type of file is not supported".

Firstly, I'm stuck because it's the only file I've got for this client...
Secondly, this is the first time ever Affinity is behaving like that.
Is there a reason ?

If someone @serif can handle this file and check it? I can give you a private link.
Thanks.

Hi @artnok,

I've created a Dropbox link here for you to upload the file.

Can you also let us know which operating system you are running Affinity on and where the file was saved to?

I'll try to recover the file but if I'm unable to then I'll need to log it with the Developers, which could take some time until they get a chance to look at the file.

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm sorry, I really had to finish this job so I used versioning on Dropbox to get back a functional version of this file...
Next time it happens (I really hope it won't happen ever again), I will share the corrupted file.
Thx for your attention and sorry for my lack of reactivity.

N.
