R C-R
The title pretty much sums it up, but after quitting any of the V1 apps, we could still click & hold or right click on the app's Dock icon to get the list of recently opened files. For some reason the developers apparently decided that for V2 every time the app is quit, they should clear this list from wherever the Dock retrieves those items. This 'feature' removes a very useful feature of the Dock, one that several other Mac apps besides the V1 Affinity ones support, like Graphic Converter, Pixelmator Pro, Preview.app, BBEdit, & TextEdit, to name a few. I tried searching first but the Forum search function failed to work as expected -- it simply stalled out so after waiting ~5 minutes I gave up & reposted the request. Anyway, it's very annoying that this seemingly very easy bug to fix has persisted for so long. arthur germano
i thought it was just me. like when i click and hold or click with double fingers on FCP ir pops up my recent projects. Affinity Designer used to work like this on V1 but now is gone, that was a simple and amazing feature.
R C-R
FWIW, now I do not have to quit the V2 app for some (but not all) of the recent documents from vanishing from the Dock popup. They are all still there in the File > Open Recent... menu, but seemingly randomly some vanish from the Dock popup, even when I have only hidden the app without quitting it.
