You could use any of them but I think Designer is the most suitable tool for creating wireframes. lbohen 1 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.6 for macOS Sequoia 15.4, MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) and iPad Air (M2)
lbohen Posted December 21, 2023 Author Posted December 21, 2023 Why did you attach the free manual for Publisher 2.3? Quote V2 Affinity products: Designer, Publisher & Photo Mac desktop with OS: Ventura 13.7.1

This forum allows you to add a signature that is automatically appended to every post or reply you make. I reply to a lot of questions here so I've added the link for the free Publisher manual I've written to my signature so I don't have to keep copying the link into replies. But since you asked, you might find the text chapter of interest because Affinity is a unified suite and the text section of the manual applies to Designer, too. The manual doesn't have any information on drawing shapes for wireframes though. If you need to do this sort of thing often I would probably recommend using an application which is better suited to drawing diagrams than the Affinity applications are. For instance, the Affinity applications cannot (in most general circumstances) give you any kind of ‘automatic connection functionality’ between diagram nodes. This means that, if you draw two nodes and a connector between them, and then move one of the nodes, you will then need to move the connector as appropriate yourself. Having to do this many times as things change over time may start to be a long-winded and cumbersome process, especially for large organisational diagrams. As with many things, if you have to keep ‘fighting the software’ to get things done then you’re probably using the wrong software. Try searching the web for visio alternative to find lots of (sometimes free) software which may be better suited to your needs. lacerto 1 Quote
firstdefence Posted December 22, 2023 Posted December 22, 2023 If you are ok with a simple manual process then I'd go with Designer as per @MikeTO, else follow @GarryP suggestion. There are a several decent diagramming apps such as Omnigraffle, ConceptDRAW Diagram, iMap Builder, NCH ClickCharts Diagram & Flowchart Software, all paid for apart from NCH which has a personal use free version. There is also https://app.diagrams.net/ which is free and online.
