Booklet printing

Hello. I tried to make book in a traditional way: first I created the book, having 112 pages. The idea was to print it in 7 booklets, first containing pages 1-16, the second pages 17-32... After having these booklets I was going to bind them as a hard cover book by hand.

When printing I set pages to 1-16 and model to Booklet. I assumed that I will have a booklet made of 16 first pages of the document (altogether 4 double-sided sheets). But I got something else. I got 16 pages of the whole book in booklet format - on the first page there were pages 112 and 1, on the second page there were pages 2 and 111 and so on. 

In the Print dialog "pages" should always refer to the pages of the original document, not to the amount of the pages after the operations that printing performs.

Is there a way to solve this problem?

Hi @Neirol,

@walt.farrell beat me to it... the workaround is to export to PDF and print using the Booklet option in Acrobat Reader which will then print your file as required...
