Cross Reference Search Box Misplaced in Publisher

Recommended Posts

In Publisher v2.3.0.2096 the search box is misplaced, i.e., the actual text entry box appears in the first line of the search results in the Insert Cross-Reference Panel making it almost impossible to type any search terms for Anchors, Paragraphs or Indexes...

When typing anything into the misplaced search box you can't see what's been typed unless you click the actual misplaced search box...

Hi @Sean P,

Thanks for letting me know... I think it's actually the opposite, as in you need to reduce the size of the window for the search box to appear in the correct location...

The issue "Edit Cross-References Panel: Search From Start field is cut off" (REF: AF-781) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.0.2139".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
