Rolling back to V2.1

Recommended Posts

Due to icc profile issue in latest release I need to go back to previous version where this problem did not occur.  I have looked for a guide to rolling back but cannot find either a guide or indeed the earlier setup file. Can anyone point me on how to do this properly. Do I need to uninstall and then re install earlier version?

1. What ICC profile problem do you have, so the devs can look into it.... It changed a bit, so you might watch the videos on this for the new 2.2 release.
2. Probably yes, un/re-install..

3. If you have issues with any version, please be more elaborate so ppl can help you ;)

edit: found your other posts on this, maybe link to them as a reference in future posts, so people can have the backstory too :)

Welcome to the forums @robbo56,

On the assumption that you're working in Publisher 2, you can roll your app version back by first uninstalling your existing app: On Mac this is done by drag and dropping the app icon over to the bin icon and then emptying the Bin. On Windows, the app can be uninstalled via Windows Settings > Installed Apps.

Once the app has been removed, you can download previous versions of the apps from the links below dependent on your OS. 2.1.1 can be downloaded under 'Previous Versions' list:

MacOS: https://store.serif.com/update/macos/publisher/2/

Windows: https://store.serif.com/update/windows/publisher/2/

Will likely be in reference to this known issue:

Note that once you downgrade to 2.1.1, you won't be able to Open any native Affinity files you Saved using 2.2.
