ljfm
Hi there, Im with A. Photo, and have a question about using brushes. With the Brush 'Tool selected', in the 'Menu top bar' appear two differents options. Like you can see in the attached. One (Flow) can change from 1% to 100% and the second one (Window) from 1 to 128. What is the difference? Because both tooltips say the same (Choose flow of the brush) but i can't see the difference. Can anyone say me what is the work of the second? Thanks! GarryP
The “Flow” setting, very simply put, relates to the flow of ‘paint’ from the brush to the ‘canvas’. From the Help: “Flow—how fast the pixel brush effect is applied (1% is very slow, 100% is immediate).” The “Window” setting relates to how the software draws the curve depending on how your mouse pointer moves when the brush is in “Window Mode” when the Stabiliser is switched ON. As far as I know they’re pretty unrelated; one of the tooltips (for "Window") seems to be wrong. Check the Help for the Brush Tool you are using to be sure. ljfm

Yes, definitely wrong when the Stabilizer is set to Window. The one for Rope is correct. ljfm 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Dan C
Thanks for your report @ljfm, I can confirm I've replicate this issue here and I've logged it with our development team - as this tooltip appears incorrect for any tool using the Window Stabiliser. I hope this helps ljfm and walt.farrell 1
