carl123
To get the rounded bottom just use the Crescent Shape Tool to place a crescent (the same colour as the background) on top of the image See Layers panel in screenshot Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. The graphic needs to become transparent. The image above for example is a transparent png...

I tried and it did not work. THEN i grouped the two layers and VOILA! THIS made the magic! Attached you can see my try and yeah its exactly what i was looking for - See the Screenshot! Another thing that now is is, that there, where the "moon" now is "invisibly placed" there is a huge gap... any way to get rid of this? Staff DWright Posted September 22, 2023 Staff Share Posted September 22, 2023 In Photo if you use the Merge down option it will combine the photo and shape into a single cut out image

THIS made the magic! You should not need to group the two layers for this to work. Are you sure the crescent is above the Pixel layer, that it is a Pixel layer, & that the crescent is set to the Erase blend mode? 4 hours ago, Lanco said: 8 hours ago, DWright said: In Photo if you use the Merge down option it will combine the photo and shape into a single cut out image How do you mean? I dont get it 😢 You can use Merge Down, either from the layer menu or by right-clicking on the crescent layer (which must be above the pixel layer) & choosing that option from the menu that pops up. However, this will not remove the empty gap at the bottom of the the resulting single layer. One way to do that for a PNG export is to select the layer & use the "Selection only" or "Selection area" for the export.
