SteveRoberts
Hi Friends, I've got a design that I'm going to print on a black shirt. I need to make all "black" areas transparent on export. How is this best done? SR
Pšenda
Is it raster image? Is there a way to do this as a direct export from AD? Thanks!

What export format? Just change the black fill to transparent should work. Make sure the document background is set to transparent in the document setup

That being said, just change the color of the object/shape that makes up the background from black to transparent. And if it is somehow important that it is only during export (it remains black when displayed), then use Export Persona, and turn off the object/shape that creates a black background in the Layer panel for export. https://affinity.help/designer2/English.lproj/pages/ExportPersona/exportPersona_layersPanel.html Edited September 17, 2023 by Pšenda Quote Affinity Store (MSI/EXE): Affinity Suite (ADe, APh, APu) 2.4.0.2301 Dell OptiPlex 7060, i5-8500 3.00 GHz, 16 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630, Dell P2417H 1920 x 1080, Windows 11 Pro, Version 23H2, Build 22631.3155.
