Hello, I want to make a simulation of a logo on a truck.
When I placed the logo on the side of the truck, I click "warp", I loose parts of the logo.
What am I doing wrong.

Step 1: new file

Step 2: placed picture (jpeg of truck)

Step 3: placed logo (saved as affinity document or pdf)

Step 4: klicked layer in the layers panel and then on warp>perspective.

When I pull the nodes it goes wrong.

Thanks

Could be also a some sort of redrawing problem, try to zoom in/out and back, in order to see if that changes anything on the visual representation.

I tried it, and looked at the video, without succes. Sorry.
I will make the perspective in Affinity photo.

If I put the word perspective on the picture,  I have no problems for putting it in perspective.

Thank you very much for the help.

Kind regards

Here with place you mean via "File -> Place..." or dragging them into your doc? - If yes, then those are treated as embedded documents in an own container then and you would have to use edit document for your in the layers panel selected logo part. - So what you can also do is opening the logo DOC/PDF into a seperated tab (via "File -> Open..."), select it's grouped layers and copy/paste that into your initial doc with the background pixel image. Then retry performing the perspective warp on the selected logo parts.

Thanks, thats the solution.

I open the image of the truck.

Open the vector of the logo.

Behind the logo I put a transparant square of the right size (available on the truck in this case)

Copy

Past on the image

And than I can use warp without any problem.

Thanks again for the help!

Did you try using the perspective warp live effect in the live effects to get the perspective you want?

The OP uses ADe and vector warp/perspective here for his logo part placed and altered on a background pixel image.

For a bitmap, I believe you need to use Affinity Designer's Pixel Persona and then choose Layer -> New Live Filter Layer -> Perspective

The variety of perspective tools is a little confusing to say the least.

For a bitmap, ...

For a bitmap logo yes, but the OP's logo is instead vectors here ...

Logo is a vector, picture is jpeg

... which he placed on a bitmap truck background image. And he wanted to warp (bring into perspective) that vector logo part on top of the truck background image. - Take a look at his above shown screenshots.
