  1. Thanks, thats the solution. I open the image of the truck. Open the vector of the logo. Behind the logo I put a transparant square of the right size (available on the truck in this case) Copy Past on the image And than I can use warp without any problem. Thanks again for the help! Luc
  2. I tried it, and looked at the video, without succes. Sorry. I will make the perspective in Affinity photo. If I put the word perspective on the picture, I have no problems for putting it in perspective. Thank you very much for the help. Kind regards Luc
  3. Hello I use version 2.1.1 on mac and have installed all the updates. Thanks
  4. Hello, I want to make a simulation of a logo on a truck. When I placed the logo on the side of the truck, I click "warp", I loose parts of the logo. What am I doing wrong. Step 1: new file Step 2: placed picture (jpeg of truck) Step 3: placed logo (saved as affinity document or pdf) Step 4: klicked layer in the layers panel and then on warp>perspective. When I pull the nodes it goes wrong. Thanks
  5. Hello, one large format printing question. I have to make a print from 4120mmx2130mm. Now the max printwidth is 148cm, so i have to split up the image in 3 parts with each 1 centimeter overlap on each side. When I make a serveral artboards, my image only comes in one artboard. How can I split up this in multiple parts to get 3 equal parts with overlap? I got to have 3 pdf's of 1373.33cm+ overlap. Thanks, Luc zijkant_Bestelwagen_small.pdf
  6. Thanks Alfred, You answered earlier in the week when I experienced this "problem" Kind regards, Luc
  7. Sorry, my native language is not Englisch, so if I write some stupid mistakes... This week I discovered, when I type a text a extra weight to the stroke, convert it to curves and than apply expand stroke, nothing happens. If I sellect one letter, apply expand to stroke, then it works. After that I can select al the rest of the text (previously converted to curves!) and apply expand stroke. Somebody else experienced the same? I have the latest version 1.8.4.693 on Windows 10. Kind regards, Luc
  8. Thank you Alfred, sorry English is not my native language (Dutch is). I must be doing something wrong because that is the method I followed. The only thing I don't understand in your answer is the word Boolean. What do you mean with it? Maybe this picture makes it more clear. On the vinylcutter the thin blue line is my cutting line. I want to cut on the outside of the added stroke. (of course this example is over the top, and just to show what I mean) Kind regards, Luc
  9. Hello, I have a vinyl cutter here at home and I want to make a type heavier, so I added a stroke in the same colour of the fill of a type. After this I convert it to curves. How can I add the weight of the stroke to the fill, so the curve of the type gets heavier? Greets, Luc
  10. Hello Garry sorry for the late reply, I thought I answered you, to thank you. Works fine. Thank you very much Kind regards Luc
  11. Hello, yesterday I moved from the Adobe programs to affinity. I need to make some namestickers. I type the text and put on (the Belgium) flag. Previous in Illustrator, I duplicated everything, text to curves and than move path for serveral millimeters, and grouped it with the pathfinder, to make the cutline (spotcolor named Cutcontour to cut out) How do I have to fix this in Affinity designer? I have attached an illustrator file as an example. Greets, Luc Sorry, English is not my native language test.afdesign
