Affinity Designer v1 Ipad - Although Opacity Is 5% The Bottom Layer Can Not Be Seen

 

I make th opacity of the upper layer 5%.

 

Still I can not see the layer below It.

 

How can I fix It?

Sorry, but from that screenshot I don't understand what it is that you're not seeing beneath those selected layers. Perhaps zooming out to make more visible would help?

I will say, though, that those letters do not look like their opacity is 5%. What do the Layer options(... button) show with 1 of them selected?

I just traced over the layer and I can’t see the layer below.

 

Upper Layer is red.

 

Lower Layer is black.

 

Upper layer is selected. You see Layer options of just one of them.

Even if mostly cut off, the layer opacity slider is more at 100% and clearly not at 5%.

Or did you change the color opacity slider?

i suggest to try again with a simplified file of only 2 layers, and practice the process.

I reduced the color opacity slider.

 

Now I did on Layer Screen and It works.
