R C-R Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 I dragged a few of the downloaded Publication Typefaces Collection *affont fonts (the single Pancakes font & the 12 Aeroko ones) into the open APub 2 UI to install them to see if I wanted to use them. Problem is, I don't want to use them & I can't figure out how to remove them. I tried installing the whole set from my Accounts window & then clicking the checkmark icon to uninstall them, but that still leaves the 13 fonts listed above installed. I relaunched APub V2, which is the only one I dragged the fonts into, but just to make sure I have since quit & relaunched all 3 V2 apps. Oufti Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 According to this help page, unchecking them should suffice to uninstall…https://affinity.serif.com/fr/store/resources-install-guide/ You can probably move yourself these fonts out of their supposed repository: ~/Library/Application Support/Affinity Publisher 2/AffinityFonts (Please note that this is in your User library, normally hidden in macOS. To go there, you can copy this path, cmd-shift-G, paste and enter.) Note that in an Affinity 2 app, this will uninstall the add-on from all other Affinity 2 apps on your device.” I don't know more about it… But restarting was certainly the good move to do as relaunching wasn't enough. Relaunching & restarting the app is the same thing but neither helped until I manually removed those fonts from ~/Library/Application Support/Affinity Publisher 2/AffinityFonts & then restarted APub V2. The only way to uninstall them was by going into ~/Library/Application Support/Affinity Publisher 2/AffinityFonts, manually removing them from that directory, & restarting APub. IOW, those 13 fonts installed manually via dragging were not affected at all by using Accounts to supposedly uninstall all 70 fonts. They were not uninstalled twice, only once, & only manually via going into the folder & moving them to the trash from there.
