Hi All,

I can't seem to find an answer to my specific irritation. I create a lot of workshop and user manuals and often copy and paste text from old, new and differing sources from one document to another. I have set up specific text styles for some of these documents. When I copy/paste text from other sources or older documents, it automatically creates a matching text style for the text source. Ctrl+Alt+Shift+V doesn't always work and sometimes I don't notice/forget to use it and I often end up with a list of text styles I don't want.

Is there anyway to lock the text styles panel so that new text styles cannot be created and cannot be imported from other sources?

No, but you're not the first to have want wanted something like that.

Yeah, somehow I always come up with odd stuff requests!! Is there a feature requests area?

A 2-step workaround would be to first paste the copied text into a plain text file (.txt, not .rtf / .doc) and copy + paste from there into Affinity.
