Affinity Designer Ipad v1 - Fill Does Not Work

As you see the inner part of the letters are blank although fill setting is selected as red on Color Palette.

 

Why? How an I fill the letters?

We'll probably need more information, but for a text (letter) fill you would probably use the Fill associated with a Text Tool (Artistic, or Frame), not the color panel.

It’s not text. 

 

I traced manually over a pixel image.

 

Red ones are actually curves.

Hi @Mainecoon364,

Your document contains 4 separate, open Curve lines - which cannot be 'filled' as one object without being combined.

Please select your Curve objects using the Node Tool, then on the Context Toolbar you can use the 'Join' option to combine these 4 layers into one object, which can then be filled with a colour - as can be seen in the document I've attached.

Thanks, @Dan C, I was struggling with finding the method of combining those 4 curves to allow a Fill  

@Mainecoon364: You might consider tracing a continuous line in the first place, rather than tracing individual line segments that need to be combined later.
