Problems with "Smudge Brush Tool", "Paint Brush", Saving documents, ...!

Hi there,

I am having serious problems with Affinity Photo.
-Smudge tool, it's horrible when editing. Strength is also not responding as it should
-Brush does not paint 100%
When you reboot everything goes back ok or seems so.
-The saved files don't really save, I've lost a lot of work because of this bug.

It all seems really hopeless and highly frustrating to me.

I don't know what is happening, sometimes I also have problems with A.Designer, with the same file sometimes it goes well and other times the export takes too long and they are not large files. I thought it could be Dropbox but I already verified that it is not the problem.

Friends, I don't know what's going on, I hope you can fix this soon, because it's not healthy to work like this, seriously. I'm almost crying when this happens.
I have version 2 of AF for Win, and this all seems like a bad joke to me.

Hey ljfm,

Can you please confirm if you are using V2 Retail or V2 Beta?

I've just had a quick play with the Smudge Tool and there isn't much change when changing the strength from say 50% to 90%, however at 95% and 100% the change is exponential. I can look into this.

We generally recommend saving locally and then backing to the cloud as opposed to saving directly to it. We are however working on improving this.
