Hi My affinity photo version 2.1.1. is continually crashing without warning and I am loosing any work that I have started / in the middle of.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program as per all instructions via the MSIX system but to no avail.  I have included a copy of my system which is up to date and should be capable of using this program as I have never had this problem in the past. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

Are you getting any Crash Reports?

Or if not, does the Windows Event Viewer show any interesting events happening when the application crashes?

Hi with respect to both issues raised I am not getting any reports of any kind, the system just closes in a blink and I lose everything resulting in my having to restart the program and then restart any work that I was doing .

Hope this answers your queries.

Cheers

Hi @Nicholas Wright-Turner,

Lets try a reset to default.  To do this, can you try starting Affinity while holding down the Control key, you'll get a window appear with a number of tick boxes and 3 options will be ticked, if you can just click on Clear and Affinity will then start as normal.  Now try using the app and let me know the results.
