Affinity Designer - Deleting A Node While Manual Tracing

When I delete a node while manual tracing with pen and add a new one where I left the connection between the new node and the last node gets lost.

While I’m moving towards the head of the eagle I clicked the air and created a node there then I deleted It.

 

When I tried the tracing again the connection between the nodes got lost.

Which tool do you use

• freehand selection - creating a selection
• pen tool - creating a curve layer

After deleting a node, use these steps to continue adding nodes to the curve (instead of creating a new curve)

1. click on the last node
2. activate „add to curve“ in toolbar
3. click to add a new node

A faster way to delete a node is a 2-finger tab gesture to undo. You can then continue directly to add nodes.
