I’ve been having issues with exporting my Affinity Designer file (attached) to an SVG.
I’ve tried on both an M2 iPad Pro as well as an Intel i7 MacBook Pro running osx 12.6.
Both in Affinity Designer 2.

Each time, the export has started, gotten about 10% complete and then frozen up.

I’ve even tried removing all rasterized images and flattening the lighting effect to reduce the file size. I’ve also attempted to resize the document to 1/4 scale as well.
Same results each time.

Maybe I’m missing something? but I’ve definitely exported much larger and complex files in the past without issue.

Any help would be incredibly appreciated!

I can confirm the problem.

The provided file does not please my Windows PC either. The task manager shows a RAM occupancy of more than 17 GB.
The calculation of the preview hangs at 5%. And also the triggered export stops at 5%.

Some of the placed images are excessive in size, e.g. the wooden areas.

Try to create one image in the required pixel size (open it, resize or export in needed size).

This will reduce the memory footprint and made it export successful.
