Update to 2.1.0 no brush panel improvements

I've just installed update to 2.1 from 2.04 I belive and there are no improvements in brush panel mentioned in 'whats new".
I can only see auto-scroll and auto-switch category BUT there is no option for updating the brush also what's more important when switching between objects with different brushes the panel doesn't update what brush is currently used on selected object. The panel is highlighting (in blue) the last used one.

I uninstalled entire Designer and then downloaded it from the website again but this didn't solve the problem.

From the release notes, the improvements you're looking for are for raster brushes, but you're looking at the Brushes panel in the Designer Persona.

In your screenshot you do have the new Show as List option showing, which is the only enhancement to the vector brushes, I think. Though the "What's New" info could be clearer about that.

oh you are probably right! Thank you. The feature description is completely unclear - BRUSH PANEL.

I wonder how many years users will have to wait to add those basic features to vector brushes panel as well.
Not being able to simply update, save modified brush, see which one is in use is a really sad joke the same as calling vector brushes something that is based on bitmap texture.
