I upgraded to version 2.1 Publisher, and when exporting a file to PDF, it now exceeds double the size for the smaller version.

I had been exporting the file to PDF (digital, small size) and it was exporting to 15MG, today after the V2.1 update, for the same PDF(digital, small size) configuration the file weighs 48.8MG.

There are only 25 pages, any configuration to avoid a large weight?

What do they contain?

Same content, photos and images.
Previously it was exported to 15MG, after updating affinity publisher, I exported above 48MG, the same pages, same content. The only thing that has changed is the size of the PDF when exporting.

Hi @Neloross,

Thanks for your report!

I have tested this with a document I've created in 2.0.4 and exported using both PDF (for export) and PDF (Digital - small size) presets.

I then updated to 2.1.0 and exported again using the same Presets. The exported PDF files were exactly the same size crated by 2.0.4, as expected. image.png

It sounds as though the app may be exporting using the incorrect PDF preset settings - if you try exporting your file, select a different PDF export preset and then reselect PDF (Digital - small size), does this now export at the correct size please? :)
