Impossible to clone…

Hi 😉

I can't use the cloning tool…

 

I put the tool on the original layer.

I go on the clone layer.

I paint on the picture and nothing happens.

I rasterized the layer but it doesn't change anything.

Can someone help ?

I think we'll probably need to see some screenshots of what you're doing, showing the tool settings and also the Layers panel. Perhaps a screen recording would be helpful, too.

Hi Nadar, If you keep the image layer selected rather than switching to your new empty layer does the tool work as expected?

I wonder what layer you're sampling from. If you click the arrow on the right end of the Context bar, you can see that. The default is Current Layer, but you would need Current Layer and Below, since you have an empty pixel layer you're working in.
