What is your document DPI?

Also, are there any error messages in the Export dialog?

Thanks.

So the document is 17280 x 8640 pixels, which fits within the maximum pixel dimensions of a PSD file.

Do you have any error messages showing in the Export dialog? Can you provide a screenshot of the dialog?

i am sharing that file pls check sir

banner.afdesign 20.74 MB · 4 downloads

Your file was set to 300 DPI. Use document -> resize and change DPI to 72 DPI. When I did this the file exports as PSD on my iPad version of Affinity Designer V2.

Thanks for checking that, Paul. I've been away from my computers most of the day.

@maxcelmishra: At 300 DPI, your file dimensions are 72000 x 36000 px, which exceeds the PSD maximum of 30000 x 30000 px. So as Paul mentioned, you'll need to change the DPI to 125 or lower.

Note that the application told you this when you tried to Export. Here's what I see, with the document set at 72 300 DPI:

pls help me I am sharing the file and while i export it is not showing me a preview pls help

This took me a while to figure it out. The Layer Desgin seems to be the cause of your problem. After rasterising this Layer I was able to export as PSD. HTH

If you select this layer and zoom out, it is very very very big. I am sure that was part of the problem. Rasterise and trimming to the document boundaries seemed to solve it.

EDIT One bitmap is 187 megapixel

how can i trim the boundaries? the best thing about affinity it is very easy to use not like adobe stupid short cut keys

Select each layer and look for those that vastly exceed the already large documents boundaries, 'rasterise & trim' those that do not need to be so large. Here I only do one which speeds up the export but there are several more very large pixel layers (even though the text describes them as vector layers) that could also be 'rasterised & trimmed' to speed up the processing.

Better still, find where you got those large image layers from and import them as vectors not pixel layers. If you imported from PSD files check these settings.

thank you so much sir thank you I will do this 🙏

It was easy to re-create the perspective grid bit map as a pure vector file in Designer that can be used in photo, it's colour and clip point can be adjusted as can the blur by clicking on the appropriate layers. Better than having 1.5GB bitmap as a background layer.
